Gorilla getaway…

Bwindi Forest National ParkUganda (330 sqkms, altitude of 2500 metres, annual rainfall of 239 cms), is a wet, thick forest home to 325 Mountain Gorillas. An Afro-montane forest beneath which is a dense layer of ferns, vines, shrubs. 324 species of tree. 350 types of bird, 200 types of butterflies.

Groups can visit with permits only. 6 permits per group per day. Area is mountainous, undergrowth thick, ground slippery. Only for the adventurous. Excellent walking, hiking trails with a guide. Great for bird-watchers, flora lovers. Diversity of terrain, sheer rugged beauty of landscape makes it a memorable experience.
