TOI 700 d is the newest member of an elite club. Planet was discovered by NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), as 1 of 3 world’s in a distant solar system. Almost the same size as Earth to orbit it’s star at a distance that could allow water to remain liquid on surface.
TOI 700 d is a big deal for scientists, astro-physicists. It’s star, a red dwarf appears to be pleasant, no flares! Does it have an atmosphere for life? Incredible discovery, mystery.
