Amaretto, a sweet Italian liquor, smells beautiful. Such a yummy, almond flavour. Pairs perfectly with hot chocolate.
- 3 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 oz Amaretto
- Place almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup in a sauce pan
- Turn heat to high, bring to boil
- Reduce heat to low, let simmer for 5 minutes
- Place 1 oz Amaretto at the bottom of 2 mugs
- Pour in hot chocolate
- Serve hot
