Trying to organise my digital content – photos, emails, documents. Just never going to catch up with the flood of digital information thrown each day. Overwhelmed.
No matter how hard I try, can never get all my emails filed, digital pictures labeled, calendars updated, documents sorted. Phew!
Is the problem too much information or out of date expectations on how information should be effectively managed? Tempted to respectfully place all the stuff in ‘Everything is Miscellaneous’ or ‘Top Secret’ category. Problem solved. Struggling to find a logical way to classify, order surge of information. Informationally challenged?
Internet gives information on anything. Often, not sorted, filtered by authorities on the subject. At libraries, librarians gave information we wanted, categorisations thereof.
Love browsing books on dusty wooden shelves using dated classification styles. Flipping old photo albums, especially faded, scarred black and white photos.
No qualms in humbly accepting I’m informationally challenged…
It’s appropriate time to make some plans for the future and it is time to be happy.
