Email: Leaving home for college. Feel quite sad. (US)
Felt exactly the same. When leaving for college, it’s important to honour time we spent within the wonderful, warm walls of our homes. Often, we get so caught up in frantic, exciting forward thrust we struggle to express gratitude.
Yet, what’s coming in is an equally important chapter, a new phase of life full of infinite opportunities. An integral part of our mental, emotional, material, social evolution. Step forward calmly, courageously with positive energy, passion, purpose, belief. Creative challenges to conquer!
Optimistically embrace new spaces, environments. A brilliant, futuristic step with fresh energy, fantastic experiences. Freedom to define, carve one’s own success, desires, goals, playfulness, aspirations, abundance.
Plants are sensitive, take a few little ones along. Absolutely pets, if possible. Took my dog (Marshall – possessive, dreadful dark chocolate doberman) to college with me. Simply inseparable, didn’t care so much about anything else!
We raced at campus twice a day, needed for his exercise. Me, on my humble bicycle, always losing to his ferocious speed. In fact, he cunningly waited for me to move a long way ahead, obliging me with some distance advantage. No chance of winning against the beast!
Discover, explore, invent incredibly inspiring frontiers. Trust new spaces will be exactly as free, charming, adventurous, loving, secure, empowering, compassionate – like home.
Some tips to cheer you up. All the very best…!
