As a child I would hear slow voices, whispering dreams, soft sensations, see an infinite world of possibilities, imaginations, ideas. The problem was it scared the daylights out of me! I didn’t talk about it for fear I’d be seen as crazy, silly. But, these voices came back to me in little ways. How do I feel?I noticed it was much easier to hear when I did certain things – a walk in nature, listening to music, writing my thoughts, feelings in a diary. So, I started doing these things more often. Felt more in rhythm, love, harmony with self. Disconnecting from all external chatter re-connects us back to our centred self. Natural surroundings allow us to feel, release toxic thoughts, heal, refresh, re-energise, re-balance, re-focus our positive energies. Helps reset our high vibrations to the present moment. Our days are filled with jobs, duties, tasks but when we’re briefly quiet, our intuitive little voices re-appear, our true inner compass. The idea is simply to give our intuition some space to feel safe, seen, heard without any resistance, denial, judgement. Our free flow emotions, sentiments, feelings, thoughts, experiences are directly linked to intuition (uncontrolled). We need to openly interact, share, express our thoughts to self. If we don’t give it a pure place to play (painting, writing, dancing), there is less of a chance it will speak up, loses it’s presence. The biggest piece of intuition puzzle is following through on what we hear. For years, I ignored my gut feelings, shushed voices in my heart, continued living a life counter to everything I really wanted.
We wake up at crisis points, then take our blinders off! Key is always access our intuition, however small. Little things that tug at our hearts or sit in our guts. The more we listen, the more we receive, trust our intuition to create an irreplaceable, inexplicable bond.
That’s what it really is – an incredible, intimate relationship. Trust, it’s our biggest well-wisher!
