Email: Which questions help understand what I really want to do? (AUS)

“If you focus on results, you will never evolve or change. If you focus on evolution or change, you will get results.” – Dixon

After many years of contemplation, think life’s as simple as 3 questions: What do I want? Why do I want it? How will I achieve it? A few key questions to ask self:

What gives us energy? Engaging with what gives us core energy, passion, purpose, desire, compassion, inspiration is very profound. Our core life force, our true joy.

What if we could take a risk? If we didn’t second-guess spontaneity, our own worth or ability, what could we create? If we couldn’t fail, which life experiences would fulfil?

What would happen if we followed our gut? Guided by our intuition, what could we bring to life? What’s our level of self-belief and how can we make it better?

What if we could explore? If experiences were learning opportunities, what would we want to discover? Creativity exists beyond the realms of what we know.

What if we focused on play? If we didn’t compare, contrast or compete, what can we playfully build as our own unique design of our dreams?

What if we were fully present? What if we connected only to the moment now? What do we visualise? What do we desire, aspire? All creation is born in the now.

What if we were cautiously optimistic? What if we didn’t give up? What if we took cautious yet optimistic steps to manifest our precious goals? It’s in the follow through that creativity blooms.

What if we were allowed freedom of expression? If not influenced by external factors or needing validations, what would we truly love to create? What’s our bliss point? What obstacles would we need to overcome and how? What chances would we take and why?

What if we continued to ask open-ended questions? While searching for answers asking open-ended questions pushes our boundaries, opens our minds and hearts, triggers imagination and inner voices, relinquishes attachment to get clarity, leads us to a greater understanding of voids or unexplored spaces within (where real answers lie).

Once we know the ‘whats’ and ‘whys’, we can easily figure out the ‘hows’! We’re innately creative beings whether we realise or not. Life itself is a creative process, both unfolds naturally and how we chose to live it. To create a sense of direction, evolution or change simply begin with honestly meeting our very true self.

Create a life we love. Hope this helps as a starter.
