Nice nail art…

Nail art is a creative way to paint, decorate, enhance and embellish our nails.

For the 1st time, wanted to indulge and make my nails look really pretty!

Fascinated by beautiful types of creative art, nail polishes:

Textures – micro beads or caviar beads, applied just before nail polish becomes dry. Gives a sand-like texture to nail.

Holographic effect – holographic finishes show off flashy rainbow reflections, when exposed to light.

Velvet manicure – velvet fibres called velveteen are sprinkled onto wet polish. The excess is gently brushed off, leaving behind a fuzzy velvet feel.

Crackle effect – acting as an overcoat, applied to already-painted nails. Dries to a shattered or cracked effect.

Thermochromic – changes colour, when exposed to hot or cold temperatures.

Matte effect – transforms a layer of glossy nail polish into a flat matte finish.

Inverse French – called a “half-moon”. Created on root of the nail in one colour, while the rest of nail is painted a different colour.

Nail stickers – a form of artificial nails, range of nail stickers, strips and wraps used to mimic nail polish, without exposing self to harmful chemicals found in polish.

So confused, spoilt for choice!

Back home without a nail polish, feel too exotic or complicated for me!
