Severe flooding across the Rasuwa, Nuwakot & Dhading districts in Nepal has affected an estimated 50,000 people, including 17,000 children. Homes have been swept away, families displaced, roads, bridges, health facilities, schools & water systems severely damaged. Some affected areas still remain difficult to reach.
UNICEF is scaling up its emergency response with the Government of Nepal & local humanitarian partners. Immediate support is underway for over 1,000 households with hygiene kits, first aid materials, buckets & water purifiers. UNICEF is dispatching medical tents, newborn kits & other essential health supplies for kids.
Our generous support can help UNICEF respond to this unfortunate emergency in Nepal & save precious lives. Please Donate to UNICEF.
