Wholehearted

The blog will pick a word of the week, to share & explore the selected word. Here’s an expression for the wordwholehearted.

“Whatever you do, do it with all your heart” – Confucius. Wholeheartedness means doing something with complete sincerity, full effort & a genuine allegiance towards our goals. When we act wholeheartedly, we are fully involved in our objectives, honest with our intentions & giving our best efforts without hesitation. In essence, it’s about putting our heart & mind fully into our purpose, to create something special. It’s living with courage, compassion, clarity & creativity. It involves letting go of perfectionism, embracing vulnerability & committing to the present moment. Fully present, fully alive.

“Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness” – Brené Brown. Wholeheartedness matters because it changes both the quality of what we do & how we experience it. We’re more focused & push through difficulties with belief. Where focus goes, energy flows. Wholehearted efforts increase the chances of meaningful success, joy & fulfilment. Being wholehearted builds trust, respect & deeper connections. It reduces inner conflict & boosts our happiness. Finally, it helps us learn, listen & grow. It’s about choosing what matters, then showing up for it completely. “The only way to do great work is to love what you do” – Steve Jobs. “What you seek is seeking you” – Rumi.
