Serengeti National Park is one of the most abundant wildlife reserves in Tanzania, Africa. The Serengeti name is derived from the Maasai phrase siringet (translates as endless plains). A dream destination with golden plains dotted with thorny acacia trees, crocodile & hippo filled rivers. Savannah (flat grasslands) offers high wildlife visibility to spot the great cats, especially the lovely lionesses. Renowned for the large lions & Big 5 population. A once in a lifetime experience to observe the lion prides with their beautiful cubs in their natural habitat. Serengeti hosts the 2nd largest terrestrial mammal migration in our world. The massive wildebeest migration is a year round spectacle. The exotic eco-system is home to over 3000 lions, 1000 leopards & countless elephants. Reminisce my childhood visit to the one & only Serengeti.
