Maqbool Fida Husain (1915 – 2011) was an incredible Indian artist known for executing bold, vibrantly coloured narrative paintings in a modified Cubist Style. His themes include topics as diverse as Gandhi, Mother Teresa, the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, motifs of Indian urban & rural life. Husain sought freedom to capture the essence of beauty in all religions & cultures. Beautiful art.
