Ladakh – heaven on earth…

Ladakh (land of the high passes) is in the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. Extends from the Siachen Glacier in the Karakoram range to the Great Himalayas. One of the most sparsely populated regions in India with a culture closely related to Tibet.

Ladakh is loved for it’s wonderful wild beauty of nature. A land of alluring jagged peaks & barren landscapes. Awe-inspiring. Distinctive features like raw uplands, craggy cliffs & sweeping plateaus, surprise.

Pangong Lake, synonymous with an abundant aquamarine beauty. Claimed to be the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La is a gorgeous gateway to the Shyok & Nubra Valley. Called the Pass of Lower Castle at an altitude of 18,400 feet. Tanlang La Pass is the 2nd highest pass in the Zanskar range at an altitude of 17,600 feet. Chang La & Baralacha La Pass lie at an altitude of 16,000 feet. Beautiful & breath-taking views of the Himalayas.

Bike enthusiasts enjoy mountain biking, an experience of a lifetime. Frozen landscapes, snow-clad peaks, mesmerising views from the high-elevated passes are real charmers of the Ladakh road trip. Trekking in Ladakh is a tough yet thrilling experience. A spectacular natural paradise.

Ladakh is a great challenge but when one decides to go, the hardest part is over
