Konark Sun Temple is a 13th-century CE (year 1250) temple at Konark on the coastline in Odisha, India. The temple is attributed to king Narasimhadeva I of the Ganga dynasty about 1250 CE. Dedicated to the Sun God – Surya. The word Konark is a combination of two words – Kona & Arka. Kona means the Corner & Arka means the Sun, so when combines it becomes Corner of the Sun. Here, the language of stone surpasses the language of man.
