Reminiscing my visit to Iceland, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. A land of northern lights, volcanoes with un-pronounceable names (Eyjafjallajökull), majestic waterfalls, craggy mountains, other-worldly landscapes! Terrific terrains change every feet from brown lava fields to snowy mountains, fiery geysers to brilliant glaciers. Heavenly.
Reykjavik – a hip capital full of thriving cafes, high-energy clubs, friendly pubs. A brightly coloured old town with rows of wooden houses. Westfjords offers tons of mountains & a coastline heavily indented by fjords. Tiny towns, fishing villages, waterfalls & lakes. Soak in the Blue Lagoon. A milky blue spa is fed by mineral rich heated sea water. A gorgeous geo-thermal pool. Golden Circle is a great route – Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir, Thingvellir National Park. There’s no better way to see the glaciers than to walk as an Arctic explorer. Vatnajökull is the best glaciers to hike. Ethereal.
