As a severe 2nd wave of COVID-19 infections wreaks havoc in India, one of the most pressing challenges has been shortage of medical oxygen to treat critical patients. Not just individuals but even hospitals have been using social media to issue SOS calls. COVID-19 patients are dying not of the disease itself, but because they were unable to get the oxygen support needed in time, even while in hospital.
