Worm moon…

1st super-moon of 2020 is coming to our sky on Monday, 9th March. Full moon is called Worm Moon. At this time, ground begins to soften for earthworm casts to reappear, inviting robins to feed – a true sign of spring! Roots push through soil, Earth experiences a re-birth as it awakens from a winter slumber.

So, look for a spectacularly bright moon. Moon will be especially close to Earth while it’s full. Naturally, looks extra-big, extra-bright – 14% bigger, 30% brighter.

On Monday, moon will be only 222,000 miles from Earth, 16,000 miles closer than average!

Will watch with wonder…
