Email: Recently, plenty of negative thinking at work. How to stop? (Poland)

Sometimes, we all think negative thoughts. We can gain control over patterns of thought, 1st step is patient awareness. Negative thoughts tend to repeat over & over like a broken record. The only way out is through!

Thinking only positively doesn’t bring desired results either. When negative thoughts appear, just acknowledge, let it go. Intuitively explore why we feel the way we feel? Next time – notice, journal, analyse, deal with root cause.

Can practice balanced mindfulness, separate thoughts from selves. Instead of identifying deeply with negative thoughts, can choose to be mere observers. Step back, contemplate non-judgementally. No self-criticism, fears, just harmony. 

Identify how thoughts make us feel? I feel negative about __. Then, we don’t need to think, say anything at all, just allow the feeling to be felt, flow naturally. When we give emotions a sanctuary, enough space to be accepted, practice self-compassion, learn the lessons, negative chatter becomes quieter & quieter. Be kind, gentle with self. Visualise purposeful career paths. Invest in positive affirmations, playful & passionate energy.
