Gift hope

Poignant interactions with children who’ve lost both parents to HIV-AIDS, themselves infected, as well. Worst victims of a deadly disease. Forced to become homeless, they face socio-psychological trauma. People around are mostly apathetic to the plight of these orphaned children. They suffer severe stigma, neglect & mental health disorders. Often, easily abandoned. Denied basic necessities like food & education by extended families.

Hope governments, citizens address this challenge as an urgent priority. Unfortunate vulnerabilities faced by such children devastatingly affects their lives. We can surely offer love, support & rehabilitation as caregivers. A need to create effective child oriented HIV/AIDS policies, social security systems, efficient treatment facilities, special education models, comprehensive prevention strategies to protect & nurture growth.
