Chocolate bark is ridiculously easy to make, an instant gift for chocolate lovers. Decorate with nuts, dried fruits, marshmallows or candy canes.
- 300g/10½oz white, milk or dark chocolate, roughly chopped
To decorate:
- candy canes, smashed
- edible glitter
- freeze dried raspberries or strawberries
- edible rose petals
- pistachios, roughly chopped
- flaked almonds
- sea salt
- mini marshmallows
- salted pretzels, chopped

Melt 200g of chocolate in a bowl of simmering pan

Stir in remaining 100g until melted

Leave to cool for 5 minutes

Pour on large sheet of baking paper

Use a teaspoon to even out melted chocolate

Scatter chosen toppings
- Decorate as desired

Refrigerate until solid

Use a knife to cut chocolate into shards of bark

Wrap as a gift
