Beliefs…

Email: Are beliefs true? Can these even be trusted? (Brazil)

Tough question. A humble view-point. If beliefs are described as having clear goals or purpose, that’s something like aiming at the truth. Yet, we can hold false beliefs, as well. Are there some things we believe in just because they make us feel good? Must all beliefs unlike desires or wishes be based on some kind of justification? Is it okay to fully accept cultural beliefs as our own truths? Is something actually our own belief or projections from others of influence?

Do things we believe in even need to be true? Do false beliefs fail to meet our goals? Is some degree of false belief acceptable, if it makes our lives better? Assuming false beliefs help achieve our goals, is there anything wrong? In general, do beliefs make us happier, more successful? Do beliefs justify our actions?

Ultimately, beliefs are instrumental in achieving our precious goals, in living with more authenticity & abundance. Beliefs act as our inner compass. The real aim of belief is to seek our own truth. What do we believe in without attaching outcomes? Beliefs don’t define objectives in our lives. Simply offer a basic blueprint, a fluid framework to reason.

Also, beliefs aren’t static or stagnant. They evolve with our growth or life experiences as we explore different frontiers, milestones & stages of life.
