Thanks for feedback, appreciate it. Humbly, a difference between giving and sacrifice. When we’re sacrificing, giving is left out of the equation!
Selfless giving give comes from a genuine place deep within that wants to share what we have with others. Giving isn’t I will go without so you can have, but more like I have something I’d like to share. A sense of abundance in the act of true giving.
When we sacrifice our identity, aspirations, dreams, passions it leads to resentment, anger. Worth analysing what we’re sacrificing, at what cost? Sacrifice comes from ego, giving from the heart. Ego interprets the world through lack – not enough, not deserving. It’s from the ego-mind we sacrifice. When we believe we aren’t enough we give more than we feel comfortable.
Giving generously, selflessly being of service comes from our own sense of practical, emotional fullness. I have, therefore I give in a more profound, tangible way with mental clarity. Believing we’re enough, have value before we give, feels great.
Simply, when giving doesn’t feel good, doesn’t resonate, it’s sacrifice!
