Supporting roles…

Recently, have been happier in positions to offer support as a part of curious, collaborative efforts. Accepted simple roles in usual projects and volunteering contexts. Not disappointed about not being in leadership. Can still share positive input as a member of team.

As we develop co-operative rapports with co-collaborators, find a comfortable niche that allows to productively, creatively move shared projects forward. Realise it isn’t the role but how we handle that role that defines our relative value, contributions.

Supporting roles are as important as leadership. Aspirations of leadership are common but there’s simplistic joy in working as a team member. Dedicated to doing our best, defer to another where needed. Unique individual ideas will still be visible. Collective power magnifies, pools strengths, knowledge, skills. Power of one, though multiple.

Derive basic learnings from working on shared goals, similar to solo projects. Upon reaching success, satisfaction is mirrored in eyes of all associates. Each ally in a team is equally essential.
