Provide oxygen, regulate climate by removing carbon dioxide. Unfortunately, oceans that is home to whales, sea otters, seals, sea lions, dolphins, manatees, sea-birds, sea turtles, sharks, fish, corals & countless species of marine life are in a sea of trouble.
Arctic Sea is warming at twice the rate reducing sea ice. A growing threat to marine mammals like polar bears. 1/3rd of Great Barrier Reef is dead. Harmful commercial fishing & whaling is impoverishing Japan & Australia bio-diversity, killing marine life faster than we can replenish.
Climate change causes ocean acidification, warming temperatures, changing ocean currents, sea level rise & stronger storms. Increased shipping traffic, offshore seismic blasting, drilling increase noise. Contamination from careless debris pollution & plastics kill vulnerable marine species. Threatens marine mammals. Every little effort helps protect our planet.
