Email: Do you have any fears? How do you deal? (US)
Being human, of course I do. Quite a few to mention. Created a few coping mechanisms but no real effective solutions, as yet!
Instant coping mechanisms:
- Lost, clueless, numb
- Shed secret tears, red-eyes
- Feel vulnerable but no external signs
- Let feelings flow, not judge, criticise
Conscious coping mechanisms:
- Face the fear – kick a shot, give it a go
- Transmute into creative, passionate self-expressions
- Affirm inner belief, strength, revert to natural self
- Seek hugs, cuddles, warmth
Process could take hours, days, months. Good news is people can’t recognise these transitions, at all (under the radar)! Except a few crazy ones who read my eyes. For them, wear sun-glasses!
