Email: Difference between wisdom and knowledge? (US)

Here’s a perspective (many different view-points):

Knowledge is logical facts, theories, perceptions, patterns acquired by studies, research, investigations, practical trainings, social conditioning. ‘What we do’, external.

Wisdom is emotional, experiential synthesis of knowledge. ‘Who we are’, internal. Ability to listen, observe, feel, understand, interpret the unwritten. Our innate knowing, intuitive insights, sensitivity, belief, compassion. Discerns elements of knowledge ‘fit for purpose’ to life’s deepest desires, dreams, possibilities, pursuits.

Wisdom innocently, humbly, curiously, passionately challenges knowledge to evolve, discover beyond standards. Wisdom teaches empowerment, assertiveness, individuality, faith versus knowledge that follows collective intelligence.

Success is an objective balance, blend of wisdom and knowledge (power of duality). Knowledge marvels at wisdom for curiosity to move past resistance, explore uncomfortable spaces.

If knowledge is information, wisdom is relevant application, insight is awareness of it’s underlying truthful essence.

Still trying to be wise, really hard….
