Email: How to get rid of tough problems at work, want escape? (US)
Occasionally, everyone faces similar challenges. Reminds of US Marines – ‘Embrace The Suck’! One of my favourite expressions. Shakespeare:
“Let thee embrace me sour adversity, for wise men say it is the wisest course”.
Apparently, stuff sucked in Shakespearean times, as well. How do we get past difficult situations? Conscious thoughts, temperament & turns. Firstly, we embrace the suck. Then, we feel inspired for improvements like a phoenix rising. Unless we embrace the suck, how’ll we know what we need? Suck’s unavoidable for passion, positivity, purpose – part of a process.
Incredibly enhances our core life force. Believe, we can create a day when the suck doesn’t suck anymore! Fully present, motivated – resonating with inner self. What we think, we playfully create.
A Buddhist concept. When we deny our reality, it invites suffering. What works is a dance of surrender to what’s unfolding. From a place of suck, we can compassionately create best versions of ourselves. Suck invites energy, ignites sparks of possibilities & potential for joy & abundance.
