The way we engage with our emotions creates our reality – joyous when it’s all good, compassion when it’s not all good. It’s important to explore, to feel the full spectrum of our emotions. This allows us gracefully accept all the challenges & imperfections. What can we do to make it better? Minimising is a coping strategy when things are not all good. Fearful of tough emotions, we may try not to feel. But, without negatives we can’t feel the positives either. We can focus on expressing our emotions through our passion & creativity. They just want to naturally flow, to be transmuted, if possible.
Sometimes, we can fall into the trap of continuous positive thinking! The need for constant positivity is a bizarre form of denial. If we control our thoughts, can we control our reality? Not at all. Our reality will only be better when we stay true to our inner voice & align with our core life force. Forcing ourselves to follow positivity isn’t positive. It creates a muted existence that lacks victory, vibrancy, sensitivity & purpose. When happy, feel it in each cell of our being. When sad, allow the tears to let go. That would make us feel truly free to be, defined as all good.
