Felt a niggling nervousness. Anxious today, a little out of sorts. Not truly understanding everything, befuddled, puzzled. Maybe mis-interpretations, guessed what others actually said. Listened even more intently to grasp stuff.
Perhaps pressure to complete tasks within targeted timelines. After hours of steaming in a pressure cooker, realised silly stress was simply self-induced. Took a step back from tasks, disappeared for a short de-stress walk, realistically re-aligned stuff. Re-prioritised a few jobs, happily delegated others!
Making effortless, minimum changes to usual ways at work enables calm, complete, successful accomplishment of tasks. Time, like energy and knowledge, is a very precious resource. Just need creative ideas to manage resources to our advantage. Breaking, re-configuring, parceling out time to remain sane, sensible, sensitive.
