Sometimes, all of us feel unsettled, unhappy by life situations. These feelings are due to our need to have greater control over immediate circumstances. Look within for inner strength to remain calm, compassionate even when life sends obstacles our way. Feelings of hope, positivity is a powerful ray of light that illuminates our lives.

Try to visualise self as a boat on a calm sea. Simply floating with gentle motion of waves. Then picture waves moving up, down more furiously! We, like the boat are still simply moving with waves. Imagine no matter what happens, we’re gently riding flows of the sea, bound by belief. We’ll feel more at ease with whatever arises. 

By imagining life as a series of ebbs, flows we are capable of facing the unexpected. Nothing in life is ever constant. Passionate, playful, energetic growth is our aim. Many factors, experiences in life are uncontrollable, unpredictable. We stop questioning, criticising self, redirect enthusiastic energy into creative, constructive activities. Negative thoughts happen when focus on resources we don’t have, instead of wonders as a whole waiting to unveil, unfold.

The only thing we can truly change is our perspective, perseverance, control over our mind, spirit. Realising we can remain open, receptive, inspired, motivated, constant through the power of thoughts, gives us terrific tools to weather life’s storms. Outlook is uplifted, gloomy fog shadows burn off in bright light of joyful, humble anticipation. Believe!
