Story-telling

All of us have stories to tell, whether it’s published or just a diary kept secretly. We all have an innate desire to express our inner most thoughts & emotions, whether we are writing a memoir to read privately or sharing with family & friends. Writing is an enormously satisfying way to get our unique voices heard, to acknowledge & appreciate our individuality.

We have all experienced events in our lives that we long to write down. Imaginations or dreams that want to become a reality. Satisfying our need to tell a story is not predicated upon our writing abilities, at all. Our creative, heart-centred energy naturally flows on paper. However, it takes a huge energetic effort to write, to walk through the tunnels of fear & self doubt.

While writing, we can surprise ourselves with new insights & fresh perspectives. We can explore our roots, our identity, beliefs & aspirations through a maze of wonderful words. Research shows that writing personal narratives that reflect our feelings, thoughts, imaginations or perceptions bring long-term health benefits. Empowers compassionately, even if we are writing sensitive stuff. Writing helps people to know us better or even understand themselves more by reading our experiences. Most importantly, we’re passionately expressing our natural gifts, transcending mental barriers for personal gratification, joy & fulfilment.
