April rains wash away winter chills, prepare us to start anew! Glad to see rains appear, accompanied by muddy boots, soaked to the skin. Earth’s splendour, lushness, allure would be less enthralling, less vibrant without an infused rush of greens dominating landscapes. Beautiful blessings of leaves, flowers, fruits – pure, natural abundance.
Even though we prefer sunshine, rain is a part of inter-twining cycle of opposites – wet and dry, dark and light, cold and warm, each giving way to other in equal measures.
Their inter-dependence offers a wonderful window into workings of nature, life. In our personal lives, there’s a time for rest and a time for growth, a time to give and a time to receive, a time to cocoon in a bud and a time to blossom with abandon in full colour.
Days get longer, rain gets warmer, earth dries off, cozy buds spontaneously burst into un-imaginable colours of fascinating flowers. Romantic rainbows after rain storms bring an other-worldly, captivating display – nature in it’s full glory, grace, generosity!
