Deep listening…

Deep listening happens when our mind is quiet. Thoughts flow naturally. No crowded interpretations, conclusions, assumptions. Mind is open, child-like, curious, teachable.

Deep listening’s not only communication with others, but listening to selves, our lives in general. Goal is to humbly hear beyond words, essence of intuitive insights, wisdom.

Deep listening is an effortless surrender – listening to favourite music, sound of a stream, birds singing. These delightful sounds put us under no pressure, we aren’t analysing. Simple feelings, sounds flow. It isn’t defensive, argumentative, intrusive. No attachment to outcomes. Purely perceptive, receptive state of mind – oneness, gratitude.

When we listen deeply it’s a vast, blank space. Let go of conditioned beliefs, patterns of behaviours. No prejudices, past experiences, anxiety of future. Freely feel the moment.

A non-pressured, non-judgemental approach to listening is loving, secure, empathetic, compassionate. Interactions lead to a feeling of intimacy, acceptance, kindness.
