Self-awareness

Bouts of adversity are an unavoidable aspect of human existence. We can battle either against our inner struggles or the outer world challenges. In many cases, we may emerge on the opposite side of struggles stronger & better equipped to cope with similar situations. Whether our intention is to evolve or improve an element of the world around us, we can’t wish just for transformation & hope that our lives will be altered by chance. A small change in our mindset, attitude or approach helps us move past the point where no amount of effort seemed good enough or sufficient. We don’t learn from experiences, we learn from reflecting on those experiences. 

If our patterns of thoughts or ideas remain unchanged, our lives will continue to unfold as previously experienced. This can only be overcome by honest self-reflections & asking the right questions. We can question the choices we make, the actions we may or may not take, the lack of creative or innovative thinking. Making tiny adjustments in our way of life helps discover what truly works for us. It inspires us to break free from the unconscious biases & pre-conceived notions about life. Stagnation is often a sign that change is on the horizon. Results that we so ardently want to achieve are well within the realms of possibilities if we can simply alter our mindset & believe in our instincts.
