Email: Is surrendering, letting go a sign of weakness? (US)

Is it possible to surrender, still get success? How important is it to hold on, not let go? What value could we get from surrendering? Is it convenient, easy?

To surrender has several meanings. One is to give up with a sense of failure. Another is giving up to a higher calling, possibility, destiny. When I let go of who I am, I become what I’m meant to be.

My experience – letting go allows space for freshness, innocence, inspiration, creativity, clarity, playfulness, I would have missed. When we open floodgates of hope, refuse fear, we’re able to patiently surrender resistance, follow our hearts.

Openness brings intuitive insights, infinite possibilities. Why would we resist letting go? Space that opens is immensely fertile, creative, unlimited. No finite minds, emotions of egos, feelings of control. Let go, forgive without judgements for inner peace.

It is possible to not surrender a goal, intention while surrendering to a higher source, life or universe. Have we ever surrendered an issue to sleep? Woken up with great answers to act upon!

Surrendering is rising above differences that divide, sacrifices. Openness, love, joy, compassion that unite. We surrender attachments to personal prejudices. Would we rather be right or happy, at peace? All we have to do is lose some pride, be humble.

Each moment leads to awesome awakenings, wondrous wisdom. We grow, expand. Life flows naturally. Surrender is a powerful choice. Opens doors to unseen, unexpected treasures. It isn’t giving up our heart-felt dreams, desires. We still live in hope, faith, belief it will happen. We will play our authentic roles, try our honest best, no specific expectations of outcomes.
