Fostering understanding…

Email: Biggest challenges in important negotiations? (Italy)

Successful negotiations simply need our egos in check, an understanding of richness of varying thoughts, styles, ways of working. Maybe, we think we know what works, feel frustrated knowing if we assert our opinions, our ideas might backfire. Belief works.

Letting go, surrendering our need to be perfect, always correct helps us feel naturally comfortable, open to listen to alternative views, approaches, thoughts. Being less attached to just own perspectives. Should we feel a little intolerant, imagine we’re a flower opening to receive sun’s energy. Successful negotiations are products of symbiotic, receptive relationships between others, us.

When we lessen hold of our egos, we open to abundance, possibilities that exist in the world. We desire to be right as we either fear other opinions won’t match our own or it won’t take our specific needs into account. If there’s ideas differing from our own, there must be a reason! Being open to infinite potential born as a result, can be surprising.

Flexible, creative, inventive mindsets deliver great results. Non-judgemental openness in our interactions, beautifully builds trust, joy, honesty, clarity. Positive, compassionate, enthusiastic energies begin to blossom.

We can’t shake hands with a clenched fist…
