Mental space had been quite cluttered recently. Mental chatter was clouding the lens with which I saw the world. Had to eliminate the clutter, make natural space!
Simple techniques helped me quite a lot:
1. Read
Needed to find an inner connection, clarity, fresh perspectives. Mental escape in the right way becomes a springboard for re-invention.
Reading connected me to the power of inspiring personal stories, shed light on diverse experiences, new ideas. Made me see things differently. A positive shift in mindset.
2. Stillness
Simply nurture self in nature, find joy in silence, compassion. We find hidden reservoirs of stimulation, playfulness, innocence, love within. Even while dancing felt a state of calm, pure stillness within, though the body was in a state of constant movement. Flow with natural, naked energy.
3. Write
Writing has been an answered prayer. It’s the purest form of release, curiosity, imagination, expression, creativity.
Decluttering our mental spaces uncovers truths buried deep within. Radiant sun rays shine through layers of fog. We feel a sense of natural beauty, buoyancy.
Our beautiful inner world often gets so neglected, even though it’s the very source feeding our outer world.
