Silence

“Silence is a source of great strength” – Lao Tzu. For years, I’ve spent time in silence, sometimes solitude. What did silence teach me? To seek happiness within. It has taught me that a few simple words, well-spoken have more power than hours of chatter. Honest expression is very precious. I learnt to appreciate the value of meaningfully finding compassion & creativity. Some space shapes positive thinking. We can clearly hear new sounds, feel new sensations & listen to our intuitive whispers.

Silence makes us feel more balanced & beautiful. Brings self-trust & self-love. By taking some time away from the daily grind, we can see the bigger picture, open our hearts to give generously. We understand that universal love is simple, we just make it complex. Silence builds energy & courage to face the external challenges, but real strength is facing oneself, our own darkness. Silence loves stillness & self-acceptance. It gives an immense power to endure, to become resilient. We become more patient to flow with hope & belief.

Silence teaches us to trust our own instincts, to live whole-heartedly. All the answers that we seek lie within. Silence has taught me that words can often get in the way. Sometimes, we don’t have to say or do anything. Just be.
