Valentine’s voice over ages…

1920’s Valentine’s Day cards were both inappropriate, disturbing! Crazy content, headlines like “I would like you for my dictator” paints a different picture of love!

1930’s witnessed a blast of crazy radio messages for girls like “you put a love song in my heart”.

1940’s WWII, Valentine’s featured tag lines such as “I’m a ‘gunner’ asking you, do I have a fighting chance of being your Valentine?”

1950’s telephone boom reflected in sounds like “you’ll never get a busy signal from me”

1960’s creative world of prose, poetry – “he loves me, he loves me not”, “roses are red, violets are blue”…

Cool…
