Valentine’s Day frenzy…

Walking through the mall, stores flooded with crazy advertisements of stuff to buy for your valentine. Shockingly, even pharmacies (a year’s worth of pain killers!).

All feminine’s look forward to Valentine’s Day. Tender, intimate, passionate, heart-felt confessions of love! Beautiful, bright!

Whilst it’s a great day for lovely light-hearted playfulness, it reminds that love isn’t the frantic, highly commercialised circus we see all around (romantic or not). It’s more profound than just sending roses at hugely inflated prices, candle-lit dinners, fancy gifts, wines, chocolates.

See a mad clamour for this special day, to prove, validate our love. What happens when roses have died, chocolates consumed? Worth a thought.

Have also seen single people been singled out, made to feel inadequate if they’re on their own on Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love, an opportunity to truly reconnect with our hearts to share, give selflessly and receive with gratitude, gratefulness.

Love is truly the most amazing experience in our lives, greatest relationship of all. Nothing else stacks up – size of our homes, bank balances, speed of our cars.

So many sweet, sensual, simple things we can do on a daily basis, to bring real love into our lives. Most precious gift of all, pure energy.

Have a great day with ‘the special one’! Lovers don’t finally meet someday, somewhere, they’re within each other all along!
