Good or bad…

Email: Brother says I’m a ‘bad person’, what can I do? (HK)

In absolute terms, there’s no such thing as a good or a bad person. There are choices, actions, attitudes that lead us in certain life directions, creates our realities.

Sometimes, we unknowingly do things that takes us in opposite directions of actual realities we desire to create. Feel uneasy, judged, unhappy, unsure. We label selves ‘bad’. Instead of labelling, we simply acknowledge we made certain efforts that led us down a different path than envisioned. Learn the lesson, let it go lightly, forgive, energitically prepare for fresh starts, horizons, opportunities to pursue our most cherished goals.

We experienced childhood’s in which words ‘good and bad’ were used as weapons to control us. This kind of discipline undermines our natural ability to be guided by our own inner wisdom, instincts.

Shock-waves of ‘badness’ occur when we do things against popular views, perspectives. Conversely, we feel good when we do what we learnt was right, even if we disagree. As our own individuality unfolds, we grow beyond pre-conceived perceptions, stand in our truth, responsible for our self-awareness, creative freedom, liberation of mind, heart.

We have a right to new experiences, learning, exploring. To label self good or bad is to think too small, chain our mind, deny self-love or self-assertion. Each moment’s a chance to alleviate mental blocks, unchain stagnation, self-judgment, self-sabotage.

In the end, only we know the difference, when we surrender to natural flows with love, compassion, faith. We’re not good or bad, we’re simply what we are. We deserve!

I am love, I am lovable, I am loving!
