To communicate like a Buddhist means we use words that are true, balanced, necessary and kind. We listen intently to others and self.
While we realise we’re only responsible for what we say (not what others hear), we still take great care to choose our words clearly, skillfully, so recipient simply hears, relates, understands it.
We never speak negatively about people. Only speak from the mind, heart and once words are said, we let them go.
Guidelines for communicating in a loving, soft, honest, humble, compassionate and authentic way.
Silence is also an extremely powerful form of communication. Silence expresses love, intimacy, balances interactions in stressful situations.
I try to put in practice each day.
