Sometimes, we think that our best wasn’t good enough. We may not be able to deliver on an idea of being the best, but we must believe in our genuine efforts. We can keep working on fulfilling our potential, on remaining true to purpose. Outcomes of efforts are always unknown, can’t be forced. Success is not final & failure is never permanent.
We run risk of short circuiting our originality, if we strive to fit into everyone’s vision of success. Loose out on creativity, diversity, visionary alternatives to ways things can be done. We focus on improving self with feedback, without our ego coming into play.
Letting go of holding selves up to perfect standards, need to compete to win doesn’t mean we don’t believe in doing the best job we can. We strive to do our best, create a life free of regrets, performing to the best of our abilities. Great personal satisfaction in our honest efforts, regardless of perceived expectations, fears, joys or outcomes. Believe.
