Email: Find it really tough to judge critical situations. How? (US)
Often, we hear ‘seeing is believing’! How? Each human eye has a ‘blind spot’! Our vision is limited by our environments, mental states, expectations, opinions, pre-conceived notions, interpretations, fears or usual ways of being. A world made up of observable facts constitutes our ‘reality’. But, what we observe isn’t reality either!
Normally, a day in our lives is full of perfect performances, terrific theatrics! We wear colourful capes of multiple personalities for multiple purposes. So carefully protect our vulnerable selves.
Observers & their methods of observations affect what is observed. Reality shows up in diverse ways. Mental models we use to make sense of what we observe can be skewed. How can we believe what we see is true?
Being able to honestly question our assumptions, paying attention to how we truly feel or interpret scenarios & respond to external dynamics is crucial to co-create with vast expanses of unknowns. Seeing beyond the veil of daily illusions we ‘see’.
When we add our core natural instincts, our intuitive insights to mental models, experiences or observations we are on the right track.
What do we really believe as true? What’s our real raw self trying to show us?
Which observable facts or experiences are we basing our reasoning on and are there other facets to consider?
Why and how did we choose certain data, regard other data as less relevant?
Which underlying assumptions are we using to judge situations and are these balanced or valid?
Which conditioned beliefs define our perspectives and how have these beliefs influenced what we see?
Why did we follow a course of action, what influences it, which other actions could we consider?
What’s holding our creative self-expressions, full potential or energies hostage? How can we overcome these blocks?
Believe, ‘believing is seeing’!
