Email: Who can we turn to when in doubt or trouble? (HK)
Feelings of discomfort and unease can interfere with our ability to enjoy outer-world pursuits. We may perceive others respond judgmentally to our choices or actions.
Curing distress can be as easy as retreating into waiting arms of people who truly care about us, no matter what. We regain composure, believe how important and admired our own individuality is.
Feelings of comfort and reassurance floods our hearts, blissful sense of acceptance. A place where we can be our authentic selves. No fear of criticism, judgement, rejection.
Can put all reservations aside, tear off masks we must sometimes wear. Enjoy pure affection, companionship. Be loved for who we are. Intuitive freedom to just be.
Some people exist when conditions are right but some will always be there, without any conditions. We realise the limits we imposed on selves are arbitrary in nature. Unrelated to our actual skills, knowledge, beliefs, abilities or talents.
Even if our experiences in such supportive areas maybe marked with little tensions, we nonetheless feel a sense of deep belonging and a right to reach out. Their presence gives us energy, courage, inspiration and strength we need to stand tall, step out of our comfort zones. Our uniqueness is adored, appreciated.
