What will it be?…

Email: Always feel disappointed with stuff? (AUS)

Very natural. Disappointments happen mainly due to two reasons:

  • need for perfection
  • too much expectation

When we plan or act on important things in our life, we create high expectations of specific results, want perfection. Too attached either due to fear, mental blocks or lack of faith. Restrictive as it doesn’t allow exploration of what’s possible. We think we know.

Believe, just flow and evolve. E.g. love is still love, with or without reciprocity.

It’s about desire and balancing the “aspirational gap,” between what is and what could be, what we have and what we can achieve to lead a fulfilling life. Self-belief is key.

Certain core traits can’t be linked to outcomes. E.g. no matter what happens will still be open, authentic, compassionate, creative and generous. No bitterness or judgement.

We can set goals we want, work hard to achieve these goals. Our neutral expectation of outcome allows us to live completely, experiment without fear of failure. True effort, passion, sincerity and learning invested is a better outcome, than achieving a result.

Be the best we possibly can. Expect more from self.

Having real purpose is actually an act of self-love. Our attitudes and choices bring joyful experiences, inspiring creativity, fresh ways of thinking, fiery passion, surprising opportunities, beauty and honesty to be who we are, for true fulfilment or abundance.
