Who writes our story?

scriptwriter

We constantly tell ourselves stories about who we are or what we’re capable of achieving. These stories can be charming childhood dreams, nostalgic whispers of love, remnants of old pain, tales that we invent about imagined futures or what we think will happen. These narratives are what we internalise to create our self-identity. Some stories highlight our failures & negative self-talk more than positivity, purpose or passion. We can feel locked in an inescapable maze, saddled with baggage, riddled with flaws or insurmountable challenges.

It’s our interpretation of the past & how we project the future that determines our present intent & path. When something goes haywire, don’t we blame ourself? Perpetuates hopelessness to believe that we are victims with un-resolvable problems. A scarcity mentality tricks us into thinking that we can never have what we truly want. However, there is only one thing we can do – rewrite our story. Review, revise & refresh the narrative. Instead of believing what we can’t do, we can choose to focus on what we can & will do. True to our authentic self.
