Calling on friends…

Email: Going through big challenges but can’t talk to family. (Japan)

When going through a difficult time, we may hesitate to call our close friends. We don’t want to burden them with our troubles. Don’t want to sound like a broken record.
It’s important to remember our friends sincerely want to be there for us, whenever they can. We don’t want good friends to suffer alone, when we’re just a phone call away.

We openly, honestly share experiences, sorrows and joys. Can reassure they’ll be there to listen without judgement, expectation or criticism. Respect our vulnerability, sensitivity, truthfulness, no matter what.

If we leave friends out when the going gets tough, our friendships can begin to feel shallow. When we include our friends (in our good, bad, ugly) we build real authentic bonds, be who we truly are securely.

Please pick up the phone and call who 1st comes to mind.
