When we long to escape our mundane routine, we can take small breaks in a day to participate in activities that stimulate or inspire us. We can plan some fun events with friends & family. Even making a list of playful or exciting things to do without having to leave home or office adds a sense of anticipation. Pursuing our passion like listening to music, writing, dancing or playing a sport adds value to our day. Practice mindfulness to relax. Even a daily walk rejuvenates.
An escape is as much a state of mind, as it’s a destination. Each time we do something beyond the parameters of our normal routine, we surely experience an awakening of our mind & senses. Being fully present in the moment motivates. We can also set aside some time to invest in learning & self-development. Leave the roads, take the trails.

I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.
I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there.
I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints?
