Venom F5 utilises a carbon fibre chassis, powered by a 7.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8, 1,600 horsepower. F5 will dash from 0 to 250 mph and back to 0 in less than 30 seconds. Exactly how long it takes a mild sports car to get from 0 to 100 mph. Whoah!
SSC TUATARA – 300 MPH
Named after a lizard-like reptile originating from New Zealand, Nelson Racing Engines’ twin-turbocharged V-8, the Tuatara’s 5.9-litre flat-plane crank engine is capable of 1,750 horsepower, routed to rear wheels via a 7-speed automated gearbox. History books!
KOENIGSEGG AGERA RS – 285 MPH
Agera RS – advanced lightweight sound insulation, front splitter optimised for race track, advanced dynamic underbody flap system, dynamically active rear for down force. An incredible 1,160 horsepower. 0-300 mph in 35 seconds.
Nevada Department of Transportation closed an 11-mile stretch in Las Vegas. Koenigsegg turned up with Agera RS. 285 mph, straight into Guinness Book of World Records. Wow!
